Who should be invited to the account?
Invite team members who are involved in audit preparation or compliance processes to join the Scytale platform.
These may include (but are not limited to):
Human Resources Manager
Information Security Team Lead (Technical)
Engineering and Development Manager
Head of IT (CISO, CTO, etc.)
DevOps Team Lead
Product Architect
Compliance Lead
How to invite a new member
You can invite new users in two ways, choose the method that works best for you.
Option 1: Through Settings
Click on Settings in the bottom-left corner.
Select User Management.
Click the Invite A New User in the top-right corner.
Enter the user’s email address.
Select the appropriate user role.
Option 2: While Assigning an Owner
Each item in the platform, such as policy document, control, or critical system, has an assigned owner.
If you’re assigning ownership and can’t find the relevant person, you can invite a new user directly from the owner list:
Go to the bottom of the list and select Invite a new member.
The invite window will appear, fill in the user’s details as described in Option 1.
Q&A:
1. I can’t see the User Management screen.
Only Admins can access this section. Contact your system admin to invite new users.
2. I got an error, what do I do?
Check if the email address is already registered in Scytale. You cannot add a user twice.
