Hetzner is an European cloud infrastructure service where you can create and manage virtual servers, networking, and storage. It’s used to run applications and services without owning physical hardware, similar to other cloud providers but focused on core infrastructure features.

Permissions for Hetzner Integration

API token has to be created by a user with either Admin or Owner role.

How to Connect Scytale and Hetzner

1. In Scytale, go to 'Integrations'.

2. Search for Hetzner and select 'Connect'.

3. Paste your API key.

4. Add a connection name - this will be used to differentiate between your connections - and then select 'Connect'.

You have now successfully connected to Hetzner!

How to create an API Key in Hetzner

  1. Sign in into the Hetzner Console and choose a Project.

  2. Go to Security β†’ API Tokens and generate a new token.
    ​

A token is bound to a Project, to interact with the API of another Project you have to create a new token inside the Project.
