Your Trust Center is your public-facing page where prospects and customers can view your security posture, compliance certifications, and request access to sensitive documents.
To set up your own address, navigate to Trust Center > Settings.

Follow these easy steps to use your own address for your Trust Center.
Step 1: Register Your Domain
Enter your domain and Scytale will generate a hosted Trust Center URL for you. Once saved, your domain will appear in a completed state.
To change it, click Reset Domain - note that resetting will remove your current Trust Center URL and you will need to go through the steps again.
Step 2: Configure Your Subdomain
Enter a subdomain prefix to configure where your Trust Center will be accessible. For example, entering trust with your domain cloudguardx.com will set your Trust Center address to trust.cloudguardx.com. Once ready, click Configure.
Step 3: Add DNS Records
This step requires you to add two records to your DNS provider (e.g. GoDaddy, Cloudflare). Scytale generates the records for you - just copy the TXT and CNAME values shown and paste them into your DNS provider's settings. If you're not sure how to do this, your DNS provider usually has a help article for adding records, or you can loop in someone from your IT/Dev team.
You will see two records:
TXT - used to verify that you own the domain
CNAME - points your subdomain to your Scytale-hosted Trust Center address
To add them, log in to your DNS provider and navigate to your domain's DNS settings. Create a new record for each, using the Type, Name, and Value shown in Scytale. You can also click Download File to save the records for reference.
Once you have added both records, return to Scytale and click Verify. Scytale will run a check on each record separately - you will see a loader next to the TXT and CNAME records while the check is in progress. Once a record is successfully verified, a green checkmark will appear next to it.
If a record shows an issue, double-check that the Name and Value were entered correctly in your DNS provider.
Keep in mind that DNS changes can take time to propagate - if verification doesn't complete immediately, wait a little while and try again.
Step 4: Go Live At Your Address
Once your domain has been verified, click Go Live. Your Trust Center will now be accessible at your custom address.

Once your Trust Center is live, the Settings page will display your public Trust Center address and its status.
From here you have the following options:
View: opens your live Trust Center in a new tab
Unpublish: takes your Trust Center offline without deleting your configuration
Delete: permanently removes your Trust Center. This action cannot be undone. If you delete your Trust Center, you will need to follow the setup steps again to create a new one.
